How is my bateria scored?
Four jury booths along the avenue each give a note from 8.0 to 10.0, based on how clean the section stayed in their stretch, your missed signs and wrong signs. The lowest note is discarded, so the best possible total is 30.0. Your total is compared with eleven rival schools in the results reading.
How do I unlock Série Ouro and Grupo Especial?
Open the Rehearsal court. Passing the Paradinha rehearsal opens Série Ouro, and passing the Dress Rehearsal opens Grupo Especial. More samba-enredos open as your mestre rank goes up.
My signs feel late or early.
Signs are judged on the moment your finger touches the screen (taps and holds) or the moment the swipe is recognised. Give swipes early and fast. Turning on "Next-sign hints" in Settings shows the next sign under the ribbon. If gestures are hard for you, turn on "Assisted conducting" in Settings.
I can't hear the drums.
The app follows the silent switch. Flip the Ring/Silent switch and turn up the volume, and check that "Music & bateria" and "Sound effects" are on in Settings.
How does the daily parade and streak work?
At midnight a new samba and twist appear under "Tonight's parade". Finish it on consecutive days to grow your streak. Missing a day resets it. You can turn on a nightly reminder in Settings.
The camera button is greyed out.
Your device has no camera available, or camera access was denied. Use "From photos" instead, or allow camera access in iOS Settings → Mestre de Bateria.
How do I add the widget?
Touch and hold the Home Screen, tap Edit → Add Widget, search for Mestre de Bateria and choose the small or medium size.
Can I restart from zero?
Yes. Settings → Progress → Reset progress erases ranks, trophies, costumes and streaks. Your mestre name is kept.
Is my data sent anywhere?
No. Everything stays on your device. Read the privacy policy.
